January 1, 2011, Discovery Health will become OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.

OWN is a new network with programming designed to entertain, inform and inspire people to live their best lives. Programming includes a mix of original programs, with plans underway for weekly series, specials, original documentaries and acquired movies. At launch OWN will have more than 18 original series including:

BEHIND THE SCENES: THE OPRAH SHOW FINAL SEASON — an unprecedented look behind the scenes of the final season of The Oprah Winfrey Show
OPRAH PRESENTS MASTER CLASS — get up close and personal with some of today's most creative minds as they reveal their stories of inspiration and motivation including Jay-Z, Lorne Michaels, Simon Cowell, Maya Angelou, Sidney Poitier and Diane Sawyer
YOUR OWN SHOW: OPRAH'S SEARCH FOR THE NEXT TV STAR — a new reality series where 10 lucky contestants vie for the ultimate prize… to be selected to host their own show on OWN
ASK OPRAH'S ALL-STARS - for the first time ever fans can ask questions of Dr. Phil, Dr. Oz and Suze Orman, all together on one stage

And coming later in 2011:

Rosie O'Donnell returns to daytime television with a daily one-hour show THE ROSIE O'DONNELL SHOW
Sarah Ferguson, The Duchess of York, confronts her choices in life in the six part docu-series FINDING SARAH

Along with original content, some of your favorite Discovery Health shows such as MYSTERY DIAGNOSIS and DELIVER ME, will also be featured on OWN. And don't worry, popular Discovery Health programs you enjoy will continue to air on other networks including TLC, Science Channel and Planet Green.
