In 2008, Discovery Health's National Body Challenge will be seeing double! In a week-long series, four sets of identical — and overweight — twins take on their personal battles of the bulge in the quest for an all-new, healthier way of living.
Guiding the group through the Challenge are experts Dr. Pamela Peeke and Dr. Lydie Hazan, along with a nutritionist and fitness trainers. All of the twins begin the Challenge with a similar problem of being overweight — and the serious health risks that go along with it.
Despite personal challenges that might doom them from the start — one set of twins owns an Italian restaurant! — each of our Body Challengers is determined to succeed. And each will do so with their best friend (and closest competitor), their twin, urging them on.
