
Ingredients:
2 cups warm espresso
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons Cognac
1 teaspoon lemon zest, finely chopped
Garnish:
Fresh mint leaves
Chocolate, shaved
Combine all ingredients and mix until the sugar dissolves. Pour into a shallow container and carefully place into the freezer. Every 10 minutes, using a fork, scrape the top of the granita into shavings. Repeat until no liquid remains. Transfer into individual chilled dishes and serve immediately. Or store in the freezer inside a plastic container with the lid closed tightly for up to 3 days.
