Michael hosts an online show called Dark Matter, a guide to the information that can make you change the way you see and think about the world. Read an excerpt here and check out Michael's blog for more info and to listen to the show.

The Mind-Body Connection for Success (from week of Feb. 3)

This week Dark Matter offers up a double header of physical and mental improvement for a better life in the ultra fast paced 21st century. Yes, we are spiritual beings but we live and experience in a physical environment that requires both action and vision if we are to have the lives we desire. How can we get what we want if don't respect the needs of our whole body including our brain? How could improving our body and the way we think impact our lives in any other way than for the better?

In the "Physical" first hour our guest will be Dr. Pamela Peeke, Chief Medical Correspondent for Nutrition and Fitness for the Discovery Health Channel, and doctor behind the National Body Challenge television series and Fit To Live tv special. As an "Edutainer" Dr. Peeke combines her wit and passion with the latest scientific data and common sense approaches to holistic, healthy living. Dr. Peeke is also a member of Oprah Winfrey's O Team of experts in women's health and recognized as one of the leading physicians in America by the National Institutes of Health.

In "Mental" hour 2 we will be speaking with Professional Life Coach, Julie-Anne Lee Kinney. Julie-Anne's work focuses on a result oriented coaching process of creating greater focus on our choices and the "how" of getting to where we want to be. Coaching is not therapy so it does not dwell upon the "why" of past events and is not intended as a substitute for treatment of mental illness. Instead Julie-Anne helps us achieve positive goals in our professional and personal life by eliciting solutions and strategies from the creativity already residing inside the individual.

Dark Matter host Michael Parker has undergone training and workshops with both guests and is looking forward to sharing the positive living wisdom from both of these very special people. Please join us for the discussion and as always feel free to send in your comments.
