Ingredients:
Potatoes
Can of red kidney beans
1/2 lb of pork ribs
Portuguese sausage
Kale
Bread bowl for serving (optional)
Directions
Fill pot about 1/3 of the way with water and set to boil. Add diced potatoes (cut potatoes thin for faster cooking). Add an entire can of red kidney beans (juice and all). Add a lean piece of pork on the bone (pork ribs), about 1/2 lb. Add Portuguese sausage (sliced). Boil for 45 minutes (at least until potatoes are soft). At the last minute add Kale.
Serving option: Assemble bread bowl by cutting off top and hollowing out the inside, then flip the top and place at the bottom of the bread bowl so that soup doesn't leak.
