Gift of Life

The Gift of Life stories are shared with Discovery Health Channel in cooperation with the Gift of Life Donor Program (GLDP), America's oldest and largest organ and human tissue program. Since 1974, GLDP has helped coordinate more than 15,000 organ transplants for the Philadelphia region and beyond. GLDP is committed to maximizing the availability of donor organs and tissues for patients in need. GLDP is also dedicated to providing extensive educational resources for the community to increase public commitment to organ and tissue donation.
