Body Fantastic is a one-hour special for Discovery Health Channel that celebrates the most amazing machine on earth — the human body. The program will focus on individuals who exemplify the highest achievement in the body's abilities. Through their profiles, interviews with physiologists and medical experts, and graphics showing how the internal body works, we will learn fascinating information about the body we inhabit, how to keep it functioning at peak capacity, and what feats we can accomplish with it. We'll also see what happens when things go wrong with the system, and the medical interventions needed to correct it.
