Chris Says:
Be specific with your kids and set a schedule. Follow through with your schedule but be flexible when plans change. This will create structure for your children, yet allow them to adapt to different situations.
Diamond Says:
Always make time for yourself! Even if you are sitting down and reading a book, take that time and enjoy it. You will be calmer and more relaxed. When you are not stressed out you will be able to do what is best for you and your kids.
Also, always listen to your kids. As adults we forget that we do not know everything. Your child could be trying to tell you something very important in their life. Even if it is minor to you, listen to your child because it may help them deal with something that is major to them.
