Reusable diapers are usually the first items that spring to mind when you think about eco-friendly baby products. But there are a whole range out there that go beyond diapers. The following are a list to check out whether buying for your own baby, or if you want to be a hit at a baby shower.

Got that nesting urge? Then visit Green Nest, a site that's chock- a-block full of products not only for baby, but your home as well. Organic Baby Bedding absorbs accidents and keeps baby comfortable, while their bottles contain air vents that help reduce colicky symptoms. Make sure to check out the organic bedding for Mom and Dad,too.

Earth Mama Angel Baby understands that any pregnant or new mom needs some pampering. So they've designed post-partum recovery kits that include C-Mama Healing Salve, Happy Mama Spray, and Earth Mama Bottom Balm. And to baby your baby they offer Angel Baby Diaper Rash Soap, made from organic palm oil, organic olive oil, organic coconut oil, and wound-healing organic calendula. Pair it with organic shampoo and body wash for one happy baby!

In Steel Magnolias, Olympia Dukakis's character said what separated us from the animals was our "ability to accessorize." And today's Moms can accessorize like nobody's business. Check out Baby Cyber Shop for organic slings to keep baby close. Child Organics carries great-looking Mama Ponchos for those who think chic—made of ecologically friendly virgin wool, it has two collars, one for you and one for baby, that can be adjusted just for you. There are also Mama Jackets and Kinder Coats that are made for the two of you.

And for those who are breastfeeding, visit Kate's Caring Gifts for Natural Nipple Butter, which is also safe for your baby.

Pure Beginnings stocks comfortable organic clothes in neutral colors. Onesies, caps, and receiving blankets are all 100 percent organic and grown without pesticides, so you can be sure they won't irritate baby's skin. And for the hipster baby there's Sckoon, with out-of-sight colors and designs, from kimonos to "monkey pants."

And finally, the diapers. There's no shortage to choose from: Momma's Baby has cloth diapers, Fuzzi Bunz Diapering System for potty training, and diaper accessories, like wipes and fasteners. And to really reduce the amount of diapers, read about DiaperFreeBaby and find out why you might be diaper free sooner than you think!
