Erectile Dysfunction and High Blood Pressure
small text
large text
The body's smallest blood vessels, like those in the brain and penis, cannot tolerate high blood pressure for very long. The vessels become narrow and prevent adequate amounts of blood from flowing to our vital organs.

This lack of blood supply can manifest in the form of headaches or the inability to get or maintain an erection.

Clearly, high blood pressure cannot be ignored. If you're experiencing regular headaches or suffering from impotence, have your blood pressure checked immediately.

If you already know that you have high blood pressure, it's imperative that you take the medication prescribed by your doctor and diligently follow the lifestyle modification guidelines that he or she suggests.
