Allergy Testing
The purpose of allergy testing is to identify the cause of the allergic reaction so that a plan for treatment can be devised. Several different skin and blood tests used by doctors, depending on the age of the patient and the type of allergic response.

Asthma Testing
Asthma is typically diagnosed using two tests. Click on each to learn more about how the test is performed and what it reveals.

  • Pulmonary Function Test
    This test measures the amount of air that can be taken in with a deep breath and how quickly it can be expelled from the lungs by a forceful exhalation.
  • Spirometry
    Spirometry is a test of lung function. It determines how much air a person can exhale, how fast a person can exhale, and how much air a person can inhale.
